HiPP German is made and packaged in Germany. The base of the formula is organic skim milk from cows. Another form of carbs that usually appears in later stages is starch. They have two starch-free options: HiPP Stage PRE and HiPP Stage 2 No Starch. It contains galactooligosaccharides (GOS), a type of prebiotic fiber that is produced from organic lactose and aids in the growth of a healthy gut flora. Additionally, lactobacillus fermentum hereditum®, a naturally occurring probiotic lactic acid culture that was initially isolated from genuine breast milk, has been added to enhance it.
